A: Each seasonal collection has a different theme, muse or inspiration, yet still targets young professional women from 21-45 years old. A Five At Seven woman is sophisticated, chic, and contemporary. She generates positive energy and displays a positive image with her whimsical contemporary style. According to downtownstl.org, from the late 19th century to the end of World War II, the St. Louis Garment District was second only to New York as an American center for fashion design and manufacturing. Today, this vibrant, eclectic district includes a diverse combination of historic warehouses, industrial buildings and commercial structures have been lovingly restored and renovated into contemporary lofts, creative office spaces and retail storefronts. With building names like The Knickerbocker, Bee Hat, Fashion Square, International Shoe, and Garment Row, the district is a marriage of fashion history, architectural splendor, city chic and urban living that offers distinctive shops, a growing array of neighborhood services, and some of the best dining and entertainment destinations in town (downtownstl.org).
